Handling Depression

Handling  Depression; Dear Friends, Imagine a young man laying on the floor of your waiting room office curled up in a foetal position. Abused and abandoned by family, always the black sheep he often says he wants to kill himself, calls 9-1-1 on an almost daily basis and has gone to jail because of this. Tossed around from mental health centre to centre over thousands of miles, because no one could help him, nor could anyone keep him out of hospital for more than a few days. Some suggested that he was beyond help, an institutionalized person, never to stand on his own two feet again.

Book Foreword

Book Foreword

This is A “Book Foreword” Written for Founder John  Mace’s New Book “TURNING UPSETS INTO POSITIVE ENERGY”

As a Psychologist and Counsellor I have long been aware that emotional trauma creates negative energy blocks in the body, but have never found an effective procedure for ‘de-creating’ these blocks until an extraordinary sequence of events led me to the Murdoch University where John Mace was lecturing on the theoretical principles of this revolutionary methodology.

This encounter not only lead me to becoming a trained practitioner in this procedure, but has also reinforced my belief that when you are ready to trust your intuition, people who have something important to teach you, come into your life. I am so glad he did.

John Mace has pursued his dream in his quest for knowledge and in the process has developed and refined a dynamic procedure for tapping into and eliminating the emotional blocks associated with trauma. The concepts may initially appear revolutionary, but the process is so inclusive and interactive that the client cannot help feeling empowered by the procedure, which transforms notions of Mind, Body, Spirit and Identity into tangible realities. Tangible because the client participates at the experiential level in the process of identifying and eliminating unwanted Identities. This unique method works so rapidly that outcomes are amazing and long term.

I am thankful for John’s dedication to the task of perfecting the Mace Energy Method and am honoured to be writing this foreword.

A German psychologist of many year’s experience and postgraduate studies, wrote the following to John Mace.

I am well into section three, reading it for the second time and want to compliment you on it. Your explanations concerning negative identities and their subsequent handling is to my knowledge and understanding a most creative “roundup” (roundup is not the correct word, but I cannot find a better one) of Freud and Fritz Perls’s writings, teachings, systems and theories. The difference is that you not only round them up, but have finally found a way of dealing with and collapsing those problems they write about – in a very user friendly and most effective manner.

Of course the difference is also that you have introduced the concept of Beings and Energy into the summation of the earlier ideas of the purely psychological viewpoints of the others – which makes the Mace Energy Method unique and really, really helpful.

I studied Psychology for nine years at a university, which puts its emphasis on Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamics.  I also studied Gestalt Therapy at the Fritz Perls’ Institute in Germany, have studied EMDR, EFT, REMAP and have worked as a psychotherapist in all these methods for more than fifteen years, so I know what I am talking about when I say that MEM is really, really a solution to most, if not all the issues a psychotherapist gets “troubled with” in his or her daily practice.

To me its beauty lies not only in its simplicity, but also to an enormous degree in the fact that there is no self-disclosure – something that is of invaluable service to the practitioner’s health.

“When the student is ready the teacher will appear” – thank you for appearing at just the right moment!

Free to be Me

Free to be Me

From a woman who had been sexually abused from age three to eight years of age:

“All my life I felt guilty and as a result I thought I had to pretend to be whatever others wanted me to be. After my “Mace  Energy Method” session, I felt light and free and all my guilt feelings were gone. I regained the lovely feeling of innocence. Before my session I kept my body covered, long sleeve dresses etc. Now I wear what I like. I am not inhibited in any way.

The “Mace Method” is the best thing I have ever done. I am free to be me now.”

A lady called me one day to say she had a troubled daughter who was also very hard to live with. She told me that a relative had abused the girl sexually as a twelve-year-old and threatened her with a knife and further harm if she ever told anyone. The relation had died now, the girl was twenty and she told her mum. The girl had had eighteen months of a therapy but was still very troubled and behaved badly. The girl came for a  Mace  Energy session she became aware of an old upset, when I told her I did want any details of what happened she broke down and cried. I thought I had done something wrong – when I asked what was the matter – it turns out they were tears of joy – she said:

“I have told that story so many times before in therapy, I am so relieved I don’t have to tell it again”.

Her session lasted about one hour  handling only how it made her feel and dis-creating negative opinions of herself (the Negative Identities involved).

Her mother called a few days later to report the daughter was a changed girl – now happy, co-operative and enthused about life.

Renewed Hope

Renewed Hope

Dear John,
I am writing to thank you firstly for giving me my life back. As you know when you met me first approximately 3 weeks ago at Christmas 2005, I was in a very sorry state. I suffered from two terminal illnesses, Raynaud’s Disease and Scleroderma. Raynaud’s Disease means your blood does not circulate to the ends of your fingertips and toes. Severe attacks lead to gangrene. Scleroderma means hardening of the skin (like a callous). It also affects the internal organs causing them to harden. Both of these diseases, until now had no known cause or cure. Each day I look at my hands and feet in absolute awe! Instead of being black (from lack of circulation) I now have pink hands and feet. I also suffered from severe back and leg pain. Not only has this completely disappeared but so has my previous terminal illnesses.

With your Mace Method I am getting my quality of life back on course and this is all in a matter of weeks. For 20 years I have been sick, depressed and living with no quality of life at all. You John have given me hope, optimism and “Health”. In February next month I will be 56 years of age and I am really looking forward to reaching my 100th Birthday. Thank you again John and I am very pleased to offer this testimonial and am willing to talk directly with anyone you may refer as you have my phone nr. and email address.

Yours Sincerely, Bob Hedditch.
